We are a small business owned and operated by first responders, focused on educating the public on crucial life saving skills such as CPR, AED use, first aid, and bleeding control. Creating a comfortable, relaxed teaching environment that ensures the client receives pertinent, up to date information, education, and application of skill that is easy to understand and retain.
We pride ourselves on creating a unique educational experience for our clients. Our instructors work in this field full time, and use their cumulative professional experience to create a robust, well rounded lesson plan unlike anything available on the market. We believe in giving everyone the tools they need to apply these skills in the real world, and in their every day lives. Depending on the package chosen, students are immersed in the education with significant hands on skill application and simulation. Scenarios are made to be as realistic as possible, to ensure that after completing the course, you feel confident in your ability to operate in stressful situations and apply the skills that were taught.
Who we are and why we do it
The founder of MinuteMed Education has first hand experience of how important this skills are to know, and the positive results they can have on patient outcomes when preformed correctly and swiftly, often by bystanders before the arrival of emergency personnel. We wanted to create an immersive program that offered the public the opportunity to learn and practice these skills so that when an the worst occurs, they feel prepared and confident to act to save life or limb.
The founder of MinuteMed Education has over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, working in the field as a paramedic. He has had countless hours of training and real life application of skill in this area. He is also attached to a local police Emergency Services Unit, and operates as one of the teams tactical medics, providing care under fire for the team. The adjunct instructors that work with him all work in the same field, with similar certifications and experience, and several have military backgrounds with overseas combat deployments.
